активатор, РНК-активаторЭлемент модели Бриттена-Дэвидсона Britten-Davidson model, синтезируемый при работе гена-интегратора integrator gene и взаимодействующий с рецепторным сайтом receptor site регулируемого гена; один А. может контролировать работу многих генов в том случае, если каждый локус-мишень имеет копию соответствующего рецептора; обычно А. является РНК, но может быть и белком.* * *1. Молекула белка или РНК, которая активирует ген после связывания с регуляторными последовательностями, расположенными вверх от точки начала транскрипции (см. Апстрим).2. Малая молекула, которая изменяет конформацию фермента (см. Ферменты) после связывания с определенными сайтами и т.обр. усиливает каталитическую активность этого фермента.3.
